yes, they are very expensive. I was interested in making them for charity but unfortunately, the materials are supplied only. Not the plans. If anyone makes plans, I would be interested for charity work still. I love to give to children, they are the sweetest!

First grandbaby on the way this Dec. It's a boy so I'm thinking not for him. A treehouse maybe.

Oh and it should be fairly easy for a reasonable diyer to make.
I would be tempted to make it out of sheet materials, probably need 6 sheets of exterior grade plywood, 4 for the walls and 2 for the roof, you could always paint in the plank effect lines.
As for plans, I think I would make a small model out of cardboard and then just scale it up
With a bit of thinking about I cannot see it causing too many problems.
