my three girls have outgrown there 4ft playhouse so wanted to get another, seen these wonky playhouses that look good, very expensive to what amounts to some wood.
I can go max size 7ft x 7ft
do you reckon something like this is obtainable to the keen DIYer?

pretty straightforward to build, out of interest how much do they cost. My company builds timber products and can send out nationwide, including the cedar shingle roof as a flatpack.0

i'm looking at making one 7ft x 7ft, 6ft high to the eaves, went to a timber yard today and was talking to a guy there who would also price one up and can make it, so by all means if you can price it up that would be great.

No problem, are those dimensions for the house only with the porch as an extra? Also would change the bottom rail, it sits proud of the vertical cladding and would trap water and encourage ingress. What base would you intend for it to sit on? I always suggest if you are having a timber floor on joists that you raise the structure slightly off the ground on sacrificial 4x4 stilts to stop sitting water affecting the timbers.0 -

hi yes, perhaps the house should only be 6ft deep and then the porch/veranda can be 2ft deep, and 7ft wide (door panel) .
At the moment there little playhouse sites on joists but has artificial grass underneath and under that is paving slabs.
this is the current house they have

If i can get a decent price the neighbour would be interested in getting a smaller version aswell.Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0
