Unable to send/receive MMS

Hi-Im on orange and have had the same phone/sim everything for the last few years and today i've been unable to send or receive MMS..Normal texts not a prob sending and receiving instantly but if i try to send a Photo is just sits in outbox waiting(ive a nokia n96) and my friend sent me a photo at lunchtime and its not come through.Ive taken the battery out and left it for a bit..and had MMS settings resent via orange but to no avail..can anyone help at all? many thanks in advance.

    Does the internet work on the phone? MMS's come through that way. If the data part of the networks gone down for some reason so will the ability to send/receive MMS's...
  • Yes thats the strange thing..the only thing not working is MMS..i can send and receive normal texts..and i can go on facebook on it no probs as well.

    My partner had the same problem but with a different phone.
    After an hour to the mobile company we were told to upgrade the firmware,we did and it has worked perfectly ever since
