Problem with MSE and IE7

Options
I've been using IE7 since it was in beta and I've noticed one particular problem. When using the "Forum Jump" box at the bottom of each page, I've lost the vertical scroll bar at the side of the list of forums. I can still move up and down the list of forums by using the up arrow and down arrow keys but I'd much prefer to get the scroll bar back.

Anyone else noticed this problem?

    Hey Hey :D

If you mean the scroll bar on the right hand side of the drop-down box, I'm using IE7 and can see it, does it happen on any other sites?? MSE Neil may know some setting you need to change or you could try posting a new thread in the techie board :D

P.S: Silly question, but you are using the released IE7 aren't you, not the beta? :o

    Hi Crabman,

Yes, I do mean the scroll bar of the drop down box. The right hand edge of the box goes to the edge of the right hand of my screen. Perhaps the scroll bar is off the screen.

The problem started with IE7 beta but I'm now using the official full release.

    Cheers.

OK  how about making sure View > Text Size > Medium?

Apart from that I'm not sure why it's doing that - did you post in the techie board? I'm not really much of a techie, I'm afraid :o

Text size is already medium. I tried making it smaller but some sites like MSE don't allow you to resize the text. Its not a big issue as I can get round it. Its more of a minor niggle. I might put Firefox on and see how that's looking these days. Thanks again for your help.
