Swiss - Name Changes?

Hello, Im booked to fly with a friend on Swiss next month to Zurich, however my friend is unable to make it and therefore if we could change his name on the booking someone else could use the ticket, could anyone please provide details on how I go about doing this?

Or, call SWISS reservations on 08456 010956, give them your booking reference and explain the situation.

They will tell you if it's possible, and the cost!! ....and do the change for you.

depending on the type of ticket and the restrictions, chances are it will be a full cancellation charges and re-book a new ticket at the current applicable fare.

Depending on why your friend cannot go, he may be able to claim on insurance (if he had any), and you may get some fee's back from SWISS to cover taxes.
