Husky Mini Fridges - Energy consumption

Options
I've seen the mini fridges have widely different energy usage they used to use a lot more energy than normal fridges say about 250+ Units a year not very eco.

But recently i've seen ones :80ish Units a year (based on they're quotes) and well its been annoying me as i cant find out why the change (ie is it a new way they found thats ultra efficient or if its just creative marketing and it actually takes more in real life situation) If its really decreased to about 80 i wouldnt mind one for the living room / garage. Also how to make sure i dont get the old stylee one again whats the difference.
Money, Money, Money ..... Banks/Casinos/Bookies give me all you money its a poor mans world....

The only ways to make a fridge more efficient are better insulation and/or a more efficient compressor neither of which are going to be something you can spot by eyeball in a shop. You'll have to rely on published specifications.

Husky mini fridges look like they work as a regular fridge i.e with a compressor & liquid, most mini fridges use a TEC which is far less efficient.
