The ZTE Skate is the follow up to the succesful Blade, or more commonly known, Orange San Fransisco.
I thought it was due out in May but the release date has been put back.
Can anyone shed any light on when this handset will be available in the UK?

Our local Orange store expect it at the end of the month as it has just been advertised in their catalogue.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0

There is nothing to suggest that Orange will even be providing this phone. ZTE's reputation has improved no end since the racer and the blade. The Skate is likely to exceed the £150 mark and as such it will not be a like for like replacement for the blade. In terms of specs the only real improvement is the extra 200MHz of processing power. The screen is larger but will not be as sharp as the blade.
Pound for pound the blade was able to make a laughing stock of it's nearest known rivals. The Skate however is pushing into unfamiliar territory and taking on some pretty decent phones, and it may not quite be up to the challenge.0 -
Interesting, thanks.0

Decided to buy the SF on Thursday. No further information on the Skate has been released, or at least that I can find online.0
