generally means i skip lunch which means we can have a lay in.One of the hardest of all life lessons is this:
Just because I feel bad doesn’t necessarily mean someone else is doing something wrong.
Just because I feel good doesn’t necessarily mean what I am doing is right.0 -
Hi everyone - thanks for sharing

Breakfasts
Me: oat cakes with avocado/date and walnut butter. Or porridge with date and walnut butter. Or wholemeal toast with... er... date and walnut butter. All followed by pear.
Hub: cornflakes or rice crispies with oat milk + banana.
Girls: usually cereal with oat milk, followed by B+B with fruit and nuts on the side. Usually drink oat milk or fruit juice (often, both lol)
Lunch
Me: salads wih hummus + rye crispbread, or small jacket with some sort of low fat protein topping - probs a tofu/dressing concoction
Hub: Hummus or "chicken" in buns, apple, soy yoghurt.
Girls: As above + carrot sticks and sugar snaps.
Dinners
Bean and veg stew with rice or couscous
Tofu stir fry
Lentil lasagne with salad or green veg
Cheesy pasta and peas with garlic baguette (or maybe veg in a cheesy sauce served with rice)
A spiced dish of some sort, poss a korma or rogan with rice
Made a toffee cake, also the usual fruit, carrot, nuts, B+B for snacks.
Suppers: girls: porridge or rich tea biscuit (depending on how hungry) with cup of oat milk or hot cocoa.
Us: will try foregoing food and just treating myself to a hot cup of chai instead - yum!Love and compassion to all x0 -

I am in the early stages of learning to meal plan, mainly to get us eating more varied meals but if it stops me shopping so often in the long run I will be very happy.
Mon: Liver and onions, baby potatoes, savoy cabbage
Tues: Beef stir fry, noodles, stir fry veg
Wed: Belly pork, baby potatoes, savoy cabbage
Thurs: I am away so OH normally treats himself to a take away
This is as far as I have got and will probably go shopping on Friday anyway. I will try and make a plan before I go!MFW 2025 No. 7 £2331.07/£2700
