Good morning! I have a half Berkshire-pig coming at the end of the month, so need to carry on with emptying the freezer
My plan for this week:
Sunday - HM raised pork pie (possibly with apple and cranberry??)
Monday - leek risotto with parmesan crisps
Tuesday - pasta with pork and squash sauce
Wednesday - chicken satay sticks
Thursday - quesadillas
Friday - out with friends :j
Saturday - I'll wait for inspiration
Having found 4 jars of peanut butter in the pantry, I'll also be having a try at peanut cookies today
What are you all having?

Haven't posted for a few weeks but been planning and sticking to it more or less (any changes have just been because we had extras to use up etc).
Anyway, this week we are having:
Th: Turkish one pan eggs and peppers (GoodFood mag recipe http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1263668/turkish-onepan-eggs-and-peppers-menemen) So easy, quick and delicious!
F: HM battered fish with sauteed potatoes and coleslaw
Sa: L-Out
D-Steak with creamy mushroom sauce, chips and green veg (whatever we get at the farmers market)
Su: L-BBQ (hopefully!)...HM burgers, chicken kebabs, sausages, corn on the cob, potato salad & mixed salad
Tea: Boiled eggs or biscuits and cheese if we want something.
M: Not sure yet but have pork belly & turkey mince in freezer so probably something with one of those.
T: Out (midweek cheap deal at pub before my book group)
W: Bean chilli, guacamole, cheese & sour cream (& rice for DH and
DS)
Breakfasts are toast & pb/eggs/bacon/mini frittatas.
Lunches midweek are leftovers/soup/cold meat or minute steak and salad.
Snacks are berries and yogurt/cheese/hard boiled eggs/smoothies/banana.0 -
