Hi, I am a new member after weeks of looking on this great forum.:j

I have a question. If you use the 5% discount code do you need to prove that you work as a teacher and what evidence do they ask for?

I am sorry if this has been asked before but I don't want to use it incase my order is rejected.

I have used the 5% off and whilst I am not a teacher my sibling is and IF they were to ask (they don't!) I could give them their school etc. etc. and say I was buying for them.

But in reality nobody asks!

Bought a memory card yesterday and it was marked on the shelf at a higher price, when scanned almost half price. Also told a guy next to me who was buying a camera that the card (512 MB) the nipper behind the counter was trying flog him was £2 more expensive than the (1GB) of the same make.

Ordered a new F/F and Washer/Dryer online using NHS192 (5%), SALEFREEDEL (Free Delivery) and BWP[productcode] (£31 off the washer).

Missed out on BPPOD10 unfortunately but still got £103 off the store price for the washer and £7.50 off the F/F (which was already marked down by £80!!!)

As far as I can see they won't ask for proof that I work for the NHS. In fact, the receipt they emailed just shows 'discount' with no mention of NHS.

Thanks for your answers to my question. I placed my order, they didn't ask for proof and the receipt just says "discount: H.O offer"

Hi, sorry, it was on the website the day I posted the message - knowing Currys it won't be available now - it was on their 'front page' - if I should by some chance come across it I will post - I think it was to entice people who had missed Christmas delivery to go ahead any buy anyway.

Thanks for the 5% discount code. Just ordered a washer/dryer that was already discounted online (was £379.99 instore and £314.99 online). so have saved nearly £100 in all!

Which makes does the BWP code work with? I have tried a few washing machines and have not been successful.
