  • Found it and parcel is at Milton Keynes centre.:T

It is best to track the parcel from the email as if you track it from your order screen Currys sends you to https://www.dhlgroup.co.uk - a blank site
  • What is the 5% code? It's not on hotukdeals

    Here's another Curry's 5% discount code

    YAW329

I found that the free delivery code on earlier postings only worked if I actually typed in the details, rather than pasting it - had to try several times, but it worked eventually!

Ordered Ipod Video 30gb (blcak) in the early hours of this morning using 10% and free del., came to £153 - however awaiting 3rd email - site shows order in process. As this item is still being offered for Christmas delivery I still hope to receive it in time, unfortunately have been messed about by Curry's before, so not holding my breath!!

Thanks, Balloonist. You have just saved me around £70.

And no, the order wasn't a gift to myself, much as I would like to keep the TV and not give it to my dad!

I am actually a Royal & Sun Alliance customer but it was only thanks to these forums that I found out about the discount offer.

My order is due to be delivered on Christmas Eve. Seems pretty mad, especially as that's a Sunday too, but the Currys people said this was definitely fine when I spoke to them over the phone a little while after placing my order online.
  • Hi, perhaps I'm being incredibly stupid, however please bear with me! I haen't had 3rd email from Currys, but on my order status there is a parcel number and it states that DHL will deliver, I used the correct DHL website (not the old link on website) but every time I entered the consignment number, as copied and pasted, I had an error message - it's looking for an airwaybill number. I did find a section where a sender's delivery number could be entered, but this too was unsuccessful as my delivery number could not be traced - am I doing something wrong, or has this happened to anyone else? I'm quite anxious as it's my hubby'smain Christmas present! Any ideas please?

  • Hi The Londoners - we meet again on another thread ;)

No you are not being daft. I spent ages working it out!
    Here goes:

    Go to the shortcut:

    http://track.dhl.co.uk/tracking/
Under the "NEXTDAY" heading click "BY INDENT CODE" - then in the first blank field input your tracking number - forget the other fields - and press "SUBMIT". You SHOULD get the information although it took me several attempts.

Could possibly be the worst designed site I have ever seen:rotfl:
  • Thanks so much - have often bought from Yoox but they give you a direct tracking link for your own package, so it couldn't be easier - Currys don't make anything easy! I was putting the number into the 'to' rather than 'from' field - didn't realise one had to pass an IQ test to buy an IPOD!

Now it's fingers crossed that it actually arrives in time, Currys customer services were very noncommital!

Thanks again, I'm off IPOD tracking!

  • I had the order I placed Friday delivered Tuesday.

However I placed 2 more orders Monday and both are in the DREADED "Order in Progress" status from Monday 11:55AM with no update since. And 2 of the items are showing as SOLD OUT if you tried to order now.

£87 is ringfenced at the bank for these orders so they are pre-authorised - but we know from the Hamleys thread these orders can fall through.

I just don't think I will get before Xmas Day but I am TRYING to be positive:o
  • You could always try calling their customer services and see if they would consider authorising a store collection in the event of items not being available via home delivery in time for Christmas - you never know!
I thought customer services were excellent when I had major problems with a diswasher delivery and they immediately offered £30 vouchers as a goodwill gesture - 6 weeks down the line and no vouchers, I'm not so impressed! I have a manager's name however and will persevere!

Good luck, do hope everything arrives, my order status changed from 'in process' to delivery instructed quite late tonight!

  • That's great ! I would love to see that "Delivery Instructed" but if not I will do as you suggest.

One of the items I ordered has gone down another £5 in the past 60 minutes - just cannot work out their prices !
  • Couldn't get the 10% code to work today, but the NHS192 got me 5% and PRFREEDEL got me free delivery.

Saved £90 on a TV that was a bargain anyway.

Only drawback, no delivery until after Christmas.
