Ive a problem with my BB. I dropped it in the sink and it was there for a couple of minutes fully submerged. Since had the sim card and battery out to try and dry, when i reattach it still wont turn on.

Typically I cancelled the insurance recently and on a 18month contract.

Do I have any options other than purchasing a new one.Am gonna check my new house insurance documents incase im covered there but I doubt it.

  • Have you tried the rice trick? I've never had to do it but, apparently, if you put it in a box or bowl of rice with the battery removed and leave it there for a couple of days it draws the moisture out. I believe other people have done it and it has worked for them.
