3Dogs, did you keep a copy of the form you sent back?

Normally I would have, but, because I completed it up here, I didn't this time, as no copier :(:(

:( that's a shame. next time, if you are in that situation, take photos of each page with your phone.

fingers crossed, it is sitting on someone's desk and has not yet been assessed and on monday you will get phone call saying all aok.

So sorry to hear about that Angel but glad that it got sorted out in the end

Thanks - It was a long time ago now but when you are ill & your mind isn`t working properly the DSS still think its OK to pick on us and treat us as second class citizens.

I did learn afterwards that they often fail medicals so that a proprtion of claimants will not appeal....but the stress is intolerable...they are playing with peoples minds and that is very dangerous indeed.

well, their calls should be recorded and you know when you called. They can always pull the phone records to prove you rang.

I am reliably informed that the assessors get paid to do the assessments, of course, but also get a £80 bonus for everyone they declare fit for work - and if this is overturned on appeal, they do not lose this bonus - so how can this be right?

I worked for them and know what it is like, also I had the same problems with tax credits. It was only when I requested the telephone calls, particularly one that I was querying that they really looked at my case and agreed certain things.
  • Well its bed time for me. Free listing over the weekend on Ebay so I need to get working on that. I am saving for a new car & aiming to get it before Xmas....I have a company car but when DD passes her test we`ll need another.
