Does facebook auto sync or do you look manually ,check in the settings. Most androids are by defenation heavey battery users. you could try a task killer0

If you didn't like the San Francisio - I'm not sure why you'd like the Wildfire - it's got a slower processor.you could try a task killer
Actually chews more battery because Android thinks the processes have crashed and restarts them. Task managers should be avoided like VD.0 -
facebook is a manual check in, it doesn't run all the time oh and I don't have a task killer or any of the battery management apps like juice defender, they just were pointless on my phone and used more battery and caused force closures0
