What I did was clear cookies, went through to TCB to magazines direct, then I used the link on here (you need the link to get the special £6 price and Burts Bees set) and it tracked within 4 hours - impressive.
What I will do is once the original £6 direct debit has been taken then I'll log into my online banking and cancel the direct debit so I don't forget to cancel, as there is the £9.99/6 months after the first 6 months. Cancelling the DD is fine, safe, you will still get the 6 issues you signed up for and paid for, you just won't be charged thereafter for any auto-renewals.

Thanks for this, I won't cancel my DD for 28 days at least now after the first payment...no way I would have waited 6 months for a free gift without querying, even if I am Xmas shopping 6 months early! Burt's bees are for a relative, magazines are for the girls in the office...

...........you don't need to 'rush' to cancel direct debit - but do before delivery of your sixth issue to ensure you receive all your magazines.They would also time collecting the direct debit after the delivery of your sixth issue quite quickly to keep you committed for the next subscription, which is usually more expensive.

From the photo, what do you think is in the Burt's Bees set?

However, the t&cs for this deal state the subscription has to be for a minimum on 12 months.

From the offer in the magazine:

'This offer is for the travel size version of InStyle. If you would prefer to receive the standard size, please select this option when ordering. This offer is for a minimum term of 12 months and refunds cannot be issued during this initial period. The free gift is available for the first 600 subscribers and is subject to availability.'

1st 6 months is £6.00, 2nd six months is £9.99.

BTW - I know subscribers to InStyle also get the gifts on the front of the magazine when they do them. Does anyone know if that is still the case if you subsribe to the travel size version? It's just that would be better for me commuting but I don't want to risk losing out on the free gifts!

Hi - could you explain again how you did this? I don't understand the bit where you used the link after connecting to magazine direct through TCB

Hi. An easier way of doing this without deleting cookies etc is to click on the link in the OP and add the subscription to your basket. Then bring up a new page and go to Magazines Direct through Topcashback. The subscription will still be in your basket at 6pound. I havnt bought it myself but went this far and all was fine. HTH.

Done it thank you Just waiting for the cashback to track. You have to wait 3 months before you can cancel TopCashBack though. Can that be put in the tartalert I wonder?
