Does it say that in the terms? Otherwise I'd say the odds are decent you'll get the gift. I think I've signed for deals with a free gift 7 or 8 times, and only twice did I not get the gift. I never extended the trial, either. I wouldn't subscribe if you *only* want it because of the gift, but there's a good chance you'll get it.

Where does it say that? In the T&Cs all I can see regarding subscription gifts is:

"19 Subscription gifts.
(1) From time to time IPC media will run subscription offers on its titles for new subscribers which may include incentive gifts. These gifts will not be available for magazines delivered to overseas addresses.
(2) Gifts are subject to availability and strictly limited on a first come first serve basis"

magazinesdirect.com are on top cashback where you get over £5 for any online subscription! woo hooo.... But how to work these together anybody got any ideas? the above link is direct to the offer and if you go via website it says £10.50 for 6 months,...perhaps a manual claim? any advice or help :-)

I decided to go for 3 issues for a quid with no gift as I have loads of things in my stash as is. Also found 3 issues of GQ for 1 quid on letsubscribe, signed up through quidco with a link that promised 4 pounds back. Not bothered if I don't get the cashback, as GQ is a great mag that both hubby and I will read.

Personally never had a problem - last time I received the free gift several days after receiving the first copy of the mag I subscribed to
