HI, I work near there and wouldn't recommend it. Well worth driving a little further down the coast to Anglessey or greenacres

just had to add, it is indeed not the best place to holiday, we used to have a van in Towyn, on a park resorts site, that in itself was at times a little bit full of non desirables, and from my experience its double the undesirables at lyonsrobinhood! I would definately head up to Angelsey, the sea is bluer, the beaches are fantastic and the place itself is heavenly

    Hi
Has anyone been to this caravan site recently and would they recommend it.

Hi we went recently 04/04/2011 the site facilties are really good all the clubs have been revamped. The entertainment was good and the kids really enjoyed it. However the only thing that let it down was the accomodation we stayed in a silver caravan and there were lots of issues like mould on curtains, cig burns in carpet, bedroom window not shutting properly and the door holders on the exterior didnt work resulting in a very unhappy 4 year old trapping her fingers. We did complain which resulted in us being offered 50% of a future holiday, but this was after my 7 year old had a very bad chest infection and everyone else coughs and colds, which i put down to the mould. One of the responses on the letter we received was the curtain are washed on a yearly basis (yuck).
