  • Well folks i hope all is well!! Business is...booming!! Never been so good, got this weekend "off" to relax a bit but will be getting new desk, printer, tools and doing some paperwork so not really "off"!!

Hopefully things keep going, net worth is increasing by 4 figure each month so looking at longer term targets and target of £30k by year end. Breaking even right now. Have business debts but lots of assets and shares - that i cant sell! Still owed £1800 from one client and £400 from another that are both a few months overdue, will chase them up this weekend as needs musts! Well on track for buying first house next year and then il be paying off chunk of mortgage asap! Hope you are all still chasing the ultimate dream!

Sorry - very little to report.

Mum, aged 87, had a mild stroke a couple of weeks ago, so have been quite busy trying to help out my parents as well as still trying to organise care plans, legal stuff for OH. He's taken another dip again and is not doing too well. Not sure how much longer we have so I'm tending to concentrate most of my time on him.

So my money making has been on hold for the time being. I have enough coming in for now so am happy enough for now.

Great news about your press coverage Tinktay. And well done on increasing your net wealth leictina. You are moving in the right direction. YB - good that business is booming.

Hope all is well for everyone else.

My plans may be on hold for now whilst I deal with all this medical stuff but my brain is still ticking over and I've got one or two irons ready to go in the fire quite soon now.

Argh LL you really are being put through the wringer! Its good that you are staying positive though (even if it is just a front) One of my favourite sayings is fake it til you make it....also works with faking being positive. You brain cant fight against you if you pretend youre positive your brain will follow.
I had a mini set back today (nothing like some other peoples!) that has knocked my confidence & really put me on a downer but after a bit of a sulk & a hot shower I have now made a huge list of jobs to tackle in the next few days (on top of working) so that I will be too busy to dwell & hopefully by the time I have a minute to think about it I wont be as shaken by it. I hate that I take everythin to heart but i also think it keeps me sharp as I hate things not being good & people not being pleased.
Just downloaded Bransons screw it just do it.... if I cant fake myself to positivvity i'll am well read my way to it haha

Oh quick update I am now sitting at around -9000 which im hoping ot get to -5000 by november. Now my husband is pulling in a decent wage & a lot of the high interest debts have gone Im finding it easier to chip away at it.

    Hope you are all well....

Also saw a quote today, cant remember exact but it was soething along the lines of making money seems like hard work until you have made it, then it seems too easy to make money.

It really helps if you have to deal with a lot of negative people :D.

    Grrrr

I just wrote a nice long chatty post and lost it:mad::mad:

    Hi Tink

I've only just read your post - been dead busy.

I wanted to say that I'm sorry to hear you've had a set back that has dented your confidence. Don't give up - you're doing really well.

Just keep going - shoulder to the wheel and all that. Stay positive and you will get there.

Sorry don't have time to repeat everything I wrote in the lost post - need to press on with some decorating whilst I've got the light.

Will catch up again another time and appraise you of my progress:rotfl:.

Aww thanks all again for your comments. After the knock back ive spent the week keeping my head down & plodding on. So far so good. Not quite back at full steam but feeling a bit better.

Going on a v nice holiday in 2 weeks - that I never dreamed I would afford but we worked hard & paid it off.Now back to being skint but still chiping away at the old debt.
Just need to stop my husband from coming in to contact with any credit/mony/anything as he has set me back a couple of times.
Ah well. off to paint some furniture for a customer
