We all have to work for the taxman, because if we don't give him his share, he gets very upset and threatening.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

This is such a great thread and good luck to everyone on their millionaire challenge.
My challenge has just started as every year at the beginning of the football season i put £10 in, no more and no less.
I have 10 attempts to become a millionaire throughout the season. Ill explain.

Only bet on "Evens" HOME games, this is where you double your money. I cant promote gambling but I think £10 is nothing.

Start off with £1 and everytime you win put it back into the next game so the next one would be £2 then £4 and so on.

Bearing in mind I have only got as far as an 8 game streak (£128) then withdrew the money.
If there is a home game at Even money everyday and you won every day it would only take you 21 days to achieve.
Again I dont promote gambling but this is what I do at the start of every football season.

Ill keep you updated on my progress.

Again good luck everybody with your millionaire challenges

  • Hello all!

I hope you're all working hard on new ideas and projects :)

Just so you all know, whoever reaches the million first has to throw a party for the rest of us on here.:D Thems the rules!

I've been organising my ideas into some sort of structure instead of keeping them here and there! At least now they're split into products, websites, blog post ideas so I can find them easier when I want to work etc.

I've also submitted a few product ideas to product development companies. They were ideas that would have cost too much to ever develop myself so instead of them sitting in the 'deadpool' they are at least being considered by experts! I think if they get put into production I'll get a small % profit per item sold. Even that's better than never knowing and I don't have to spend a penny!
  • I am a young person trying to do the same. Currently 22 and just left uni.

My basic strategy is to split it into segments:
    - Security; A wage from a job (which i am yet to get but have options in the pipeline) - this pays rent food and essentials
    - Investments; property when i have the money, share trading (which i currently do a biit of, up 108% or so in a few years) - this increases the value of that spare cash
    - Pocket money; matched betting (there are threads on here about it, I use 'The Gold Tiger', great little earner) - this money is for beer or fun, rewards are important!
    - My big break; a massive fingers crossed! I started a company at uni, it has potential.. if it takes off it will be big

By guaranteeing that important income (9-5) you can then do extra earners (5-9) as the expression goes, I believe anyone with the motivation can become a millionaire! Good luck everyone, great thread, keep ideas running!

Who spends £20 on shopping? I'm sure whoever it is, is doing it to live within their means.

If you have the mentality you only live once and spend for the sake of it being 'fun' you're more likely to wake up in deep deep debt. Now THAT's a waste.

Hopefully, only a few will be so motivated. There just isn't enough money in circulation, nor opportunities to make everybody a millionaire.

    Hi
This may sound a bit weird but have you looked into the law of attraction? Esther and Jerry Hicks have free videos about it on Youtube and I have had massive results with it.
On a different note, have you thought about making money online? I do this and although its not easy at first, you can achieve results that far exceed working for an hourly rate and in time, you can create an almost passive income.
The best ways I have found are building your own websites, doing affiliate marketing and making money from adsense.
Hope this helps you move towards your goal which I think is a superb goal and best of luck.

I've read their book and had good results too. I was only a temp thing though as 'that voice' took over and I forgot I was supposed to be positive thinking at all times! :D
