UKOnline's apparent "12 month" contract. Is it possible....

Im still paying for a UKonline broadband account at a house that im not even living in anymore. I started the contract over 14months ago so assumed (silly i know) that it had run out. Ive found out however that im still paying for it over a year later.
Is there anyway legally i can ask for my £50 back for the 2 months following the 12 month contract expiring or will they have small print in any contract saying i have to cancel it on the phone or i will keep on paying for it.
Thanks
Dan

Once the 12 month contract expires, you are then on a rolling agreement and pay every month until you cancel. You do have to let them know that you wish to cancel the account.
I highly doubt that you could get your money back off them. Maybe if you plead that you haven't lived there and tell them that you have called to cancel but nobody noted it on your account, somebody, somewhere, will give your money back, but it's a long shot.Debt Free Wannabe
