Please can someone help me before i go stark raving mad.
My betterhalf has ordered a new phone and contract to run alongside her on going contract for our daughter.
Phone arrived as promised today so all looking good.
My BH had the bright idea of swopping SIMS with her phone and the new one as daughter wasn't keen on her new phone.
BH duly contacted Voda and spoke to a Rep, she explained that she wanted her sim pairing with new phone and new sim with her old phone. Not a problem say's rep.
Short while later no phone will work, she contacted Voda again and got through to the rudest most condescending person ever, in the end she passed the phone to me. I explained very politely what had happened and he spoke to me like a 4yr old. Asked Rep to speak to a Manager or Supervisor, no surprise he refused.
Next call to Voda and another Rep, explained situation and was then told there was only 1 phone on her account. Advised Rep a new contract had been taken out and phone delivered today. Rep says no it wasn't there is only 1 phone. My BH asked for this in writing and was informed that it would be posted out.
BH is now complaining that all her contacts have been taken off her SIM and is fuming.
I know Voda people frequent this Forum and was wondering if they could help.
As it stands we have a brand new phone and according to Voda it doesnt exist.
Thankyou all

it may be on a seperate accountDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Thing is on the 1st call it was definately on BH account, after the last call it isn't. We have checked her account on line and still only showing 1 phone.
I am not after scamming a phone i need it registered so my daughter can use it.0 -
And what's the problem with just swapping SIMs? Why do you need Vodafone involved in this simple action? Either SIM can be used with either phone.gareth7113 wrote: »My BH had the bright idea of swopping SIMS with her phone and the new one as daughter wasn't keen on her new phone.0 -
Before swapping sims, were the contacts copied onto the sim memories. If you do not do that and you do not use an online storage, the contacts will be left in the old phone - if you see what I mean.
Try putting the sims back to what they were, copy contacts from phone memories onto sim memories, then swap the sims.
As for not seeing the new contract details online, try to open a second vodafone account for the new mobile number.0 -

Yes i know that but my BH didn't. All we get now is that this Sim is not provisioned. Either way Voda had the contract 1 minute and the next it didn't exist. I just need them to find it, sort it and let my daughter use it.0

Try another phone then if you have a 3rd phone and see if the sims are working.0

Sim is not registered, only Voda can action this. We also need them to realise that we do have a contract on it so they dont decide in a few months that the bailiffs will be sent for non-payment.0

Which sim is not registered, new or old?
If its new sim and you only got it in last 24-48 hours, you will have to wait for it to be activated which will take 24-48 hours and might explain why vodafone cannot see it on their systems.0 -
Hi gareth7113,
I am sorry to hear you had some problems with the SIM cards. I would like to help get this resolved for you.
So that I can access the account, can you drop me an email at webrelations@vodafone.com with WRT135 (FAO Heidi) in the subject and a link to this thread.
Many thanks,
