iPhone 4 Apple Care - experiences?

Hi all,

I hope this is the right place to post this as I suppose technically it is about warranty/insurance rather than the phone itself.

Anyway I've just seen the Apple Care product for £61 on the Apple UK site and it acts to extend my warranty for another year. I've got the phone for another 12 months or so on contract and have already used the warranty it came with to replace the handset.

Just wondered if anyone had any experience with this extended warranty, and whether I can get the same thing cheaper elsewhere?

Be careful when ordering from a non authorised reseller, Apple are now clamping down this and occationally require both the box and receipt (from a authorised reseller) to register for apple care,

With reference to the actual question, Apples customer service has been excellent for me and i would highly recommend the applecare,

Contact your network provider, they can often provide it for £5 or so less.

Applecare is probably one of the only extended warranties worth a toss. Apple will quite happily replace an item if its faulty.
