Yes, with a "free withdrawal" pre-paid card you would still have to pay any ATM fees, but with your own debit card you could well be double charged.

Another advantage of using a pre-paid card when overseas in security. The card is isolated from your main bank account so if it is lost, stolen or cloned then the culprit will not have access to your entire bank account bank home.
