just curious as to when is the best time to put a real tree up? i dont wanmt it dying before new years

oh sorry lol forgot to say nice trees. We are starting from scratch this year as we have moved house and we want a real tree at least 6 foot. Normally do a silver and lilac theme but lilac decs are gard to find. Stuck for colour ideas too lol

Went to Forestry Commission site y esterday, they said 'On sale from December 1st till we sell out', which kind of makes me think they chop them all down in November and it doesn't matter when you buy them, it won't be any fresher. Anyone know anything about Christmas trees???? Are they usually cut fresh each week?

paigesmummy why dont you just paint or spray decorations lilac! I did this when i changed my colours from silver and blue to gold and red!!
