I short settled MBNA by 8jib and was chastised by the holier than thou crowd on here, you do the same and are treated like a financial wizard.

    How?

You have been unlucky, and to be honest I am just writing a diary. I am hardly a wizard, more of a necromancer!

I have a nice little group of people who have popped by and stayed and its mutual support. we encourage each other along.

Like anything we may not agree with all the methods but we are supporting to a common aim, which is to be debt free.

So focus on the good stuff, you have cleared it, and keep a diary so if you want to share and you want to look at other peoples experiences you can get some support and give it to other too.

well done. Am sorry you had a bad experience. :)

Unfortunately some people come to these boards to give people a hard time and they tend to pick on those who are new. So you may have been visited by some of those folk. They are rarely the regulars on DFW (unless someone is clearly playing the system e.g. spending with the intention of writing off debts).

Hang around - start a diary of your own if you like - and you'll find the regulars here will rally round you and cheer you on too!

    well said and bravo.

    :-)

thats very kind, but I am very flawed and make loads of mistakes. I rely on alcohol, strict rules about crisps and coffee...

but hey chin up and get your diary started and see what happens.

Theres some great people on these forums.

  • Am still in my pit but just completed all my surveys, checked on my 80 active fleabay listings (there are others in turbolister but 80 is my max, as theres time needed to package and send etc, have to be realistic)

Going to get my bad self sorted and while dh assembles bedroom furniture for dd2 I will do some bits of cooking and baking. I will be like nigella, if nigella ever had a rough night, no makeup, a pair of "comfypants which could pass as pyjamas" and a predator t shirt.

I dont do cleavage and cake, I find it muddies the water.

After that industry dahlings, I shall do internet xmas shopping. This is always fun! Better than a bunfight with a load of other folks. Lets see what we can sort! Hope you are all having a fab day x
