what a lovely bright change to the weather. I am anticipating wearing shorts again while I am off next week. I have mostly tied up my work and I have even applied for a new job!
I think its time to try and move on. Obviously I cant take a cut in wages but theres a large element of red tape in my current position and some of those constraints have taken all the pleasure away. My time accounting for example, while I am used to having to account for my time and as I work on capital projects accept its necessary, but its almost down to the level of micro time management. I am not a smoker and nor do I have IBS but I am feeling any time away from my desk, I am wondering what I should be coding it to.
Also theres no capacity to record a break, so my 15 minute mid morning and mid afternoon break is merely non productive time. I make a cuppa and check my phone and post on here (I know I sometimes post on here while on teleconferences but thats a different kettle of fish).
Nevermind. As long as I am around 85% busy I can justify it, if I have a day with an upset tummy I will have to take work home just to make up the figures as I cant stay late with picking my boy up from the childminder.
Ive paid a fair few bills. 100.48 to amex. other payments to cards etc. As I said, I think I will use cards to pay vodafone in the next couple of weeks.
The other cards have now been in the reserve purse for a month, without being used. Will check balances etc and see what I can pay to vodafone off those. Then put them back and carry on. Will mean its looking a little healthier on the old credit report.
The kitten can now do the stairs and she is very good at making her prescence felt. We all really like her, shes a lovely little thing.
Back to work, cos I have loads to go before jollybobs...Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Got my shorts on, my husband is paying a lovely cheque in today, its enough to complete all the work at the other house so we can get our tenant. Thanks Gran we will miss you but you made sure we were looked after. Once we have our tenant we shall be much better off. All round!
In the meantime I shall do a spot of ebay packaging, posted loads "eleventy twelve" as my daughter used to say to describe "a lot" but have some more to package, thanks to them all paying and that, and oh, paid another pound plus pennies to amex. I am off now to do a spot of ironing then I shall go dig the garden. hope everyones ok. xTrying to shift that debt!0 -
