Signed up for a 24-month contract with above recently.
My credit is fine but the deal wouldn't go through using my email address, no idea if it was even credit related.
So the assistant in-store chopped the 1st char off my email and insisted it was only a user name. Deal went through and I complained there and then that Tesco had no valid email address to send my correspondence. Still, I signed up, my daughter needed a new phone.
Yesterday, the owner of the email address rang my daughter's new phone. She could see my credit rating from the emails Tesco had sent her. She was very nice and angry with Tesco as was I. She sent the emails on to me. I've emailed Tescos asking them to sort this out because any future emails will go to the email address on record.
I find this whole thing pretty appalling but I did sign up, despite me complaining at the time. Any thoughts? Beware to others......
