Got mine, loved it, agree that some of it is quite simplistic but hey, don't forget that we are old hands at this game, most people out there don't have a clue and the book will teach them many good OS money-saving tricks!

Received mine today as well, its one of my presents so not allowed to read it yet I've been told that I cant open it until after Xmas Lunch otherwise nobody will have Xmas dinner........ LOL

Mine arrived from Amazon today. Am thanked (how that happened I've no idea!) so I'll get another for my mum! Just skimmed through but will look at some chapters in more depth sometime. Its a little book, and those that come here regularly will know alot; I certainly found things I hadn't come across... And personally I think I absorb things better printed rather than on screen. In fact think I've just thought of someone else offline who'd appreciate it.

Anyone one know where best to get another copy for Xmas? Amazon say they're not up to it.

I've not got my copy...yet. Since it's nearly Christmas I didn't want to go out and buy it incase someone else bought me a copy and then it's my birthday in January so I'll wait until after that, if I've still not got a copy I'll be off to the bookshops in town for a copy of my own:D Already planning on buying it for my SIL, just haven't got the money in my budget to buy her it this Christmas

I got my copy and I thought it was cool. I love the small size, and it is so much nicer than looking through the mega index thread for information. The cleaning section is the real gold for me as I am happy to be using not only money saving methods but also things that aren't full of crazy chemicals.

I wasn't too interested in the recipes, it's hard to do it all in a small section because everyone has such different tastes. Loving the allotment/keeping chickens info also.

Such a 'good; book in every sense - saving money, saving the environment (oftenly) and giving money to charity all at once. I hope it becomes a bestseller. Also so nice to see a book based on collective wisdom at Christmas-time rather than the teenage pop star biography at 19!
