    Are you sure it's Bank Identifier Code? My statements have Branch Identifier Code. There each branch will have a different BIC. I have also looked at the OH's statements from her branch and the BICs \re not the same.

    The International Bank Account Number in our cases consists of an alphanumeric prefix of eight characters followed by the sort code and account numner written continuously.
