Feeling cross at my own mistake!

in Credit cards
I received my Tesco Clubcard statement today with a credit card offer for 0% on balance transfers until November. Stupidly I then applied online (instead of telephoning them) for this card and after I had been accepted with a credit limit of £6500, realised the card online was for 0% on purchases until November and 5.9% on balance transfers.
I have rang Tescos to see if they could alter the interest rate to 0% on balance transfers, but they are refusing saying they can only accept the first application.
Feeling cross!
I only wanted to transfer £1500 to 0%!
- is there any way I can use this 0% on purchases to my advantage..... feeling a bit peeved at my own mistake and can't think how this credit card could help me?

Pay for everything you buy with your new 0% card and pay minimum amounts on it. Meanwhile use all the cash freed up to pay off your £1500 balance.0

Then when thats paid off putmoney equivalent to monthly spend in regular savings account, I do that with the Sainsbury 0% on purchases.0

I agree with the above and once youve payed off the £1500 try to "catch up" with the debt building up on the tesco card, by putting away more than you spend on the card, with a bit of luck when the 0% runs out you will be in a position to pay it off in full.
