wow that was quick my clicker came yesterday to . all look simple enough just a bit of a pain as my printer which has a scanner don't work now so will have to upload a photo. still its only once a week i need to do it.

Hi I am completely new to this forum, and not really used other forums either so I apologise in advanced if i am going about this in the wrong way. I saw a post on here from someone offering to refer people to shop and scan. I would like to join, can you tell me what to do?

I doubt they will do either option, I have messed up sometimes and never hear a thing, so they either think "Oh no, not again" or it just goes into the data pot along with all the correct thousands transmitted that week

There is no "referral" as such, you just sign up here and wait

Please note that because we have to keep our panels demographically balanced there may not be a vacancy straight away and there is no guarantee that you will be invited to join.

Unfortunately it will transmit fine no matter what you do. They'll probably email you to say you've done it wrong and to read your instructions more carefully. That's what they said to me the other week when I forgot to scan the total price.

I have been trying all evening to transmit my very first barcodes from my scanner to Shop & Scan, but just couldn't get it to do anything when I clicked on the submit button

I installed the software from the web-site (couldn't do it from the CD), then following advice, I uninstalled it and re-installed it, but still got nothing when I clicked on submit

I tried all of my USB ports - nothing

I read every post in this thread, as you will see by my 'thanks' thoughout the thread , and tried the 'point scanner at wall and press until red scan-light goes off' and also restarted computer with the USB cable/scanner already plugged in and ..................... at 23.48 hrs I got the bleep bleep bleeps :j :j then the message saying my barcodes had been successfully transmitted, though it didn't say how many, and that scanner now reset

So looking forward to receiving confirmation tomorrow of my points award

I usually get email on tuesday to say points successfully allocated.

I got an email to say I have been accepted for shop and scan!! I now have to read back this thread to find out what is it I am supposed to do!:o

I got my points added for the receipt I uploaded on Saturday but I haven't had any points for barcodes yet - is this usual?
