Signed up for shop and scan through a link on the magic freebies website yesterday. Got a call from them today to say my application was accepted and i would get an email with more info and to arrange the delivery of my equipment.

What you have signed up for is fact finders and you will earn points for gifts as opposed to cash for shop and scan.

no problem one thing to to be aware of mind.
The equipment plugs into your phoneline and data is collected once a week in the early hours of the morning,used to wake me up because the phone used to ring.
I think others have posted similar comments

Mine has never rang when the stuff downloads to them so it must happens to some but not others.

Is the one from Nielsen worth doing or not? Can you do shop & scan & Nielsen at the same time?

Yes you can, as they are different companies.

Shop and Scan is much better though.

it's more time comsuming in my view but you can still collect for some good gifts so it is worth doing.

I'm already on shop & scan & if it's on the same principle hopefully it won't take too much longer to do each time. I saw Nielsen advertising yesterday but wasn't sure of it was the same thing. I will give them a try as well. Every little helps.

the thing with Nielsen is they want more information when scanning.
You have to enter any offers and the price of every item you scan.
Well that's how it used to be when I did it of course things may have changed.

I started with neilson a few weeks ago, they don't ask for the price of each item, just if it was on special offer.
