I think there may be different types of shopping and scanning. I remember my sister in law had a more complicated process than I do, she had to weigh everything and it seemed to be much more detailed. I just scan items when I get home as I am putting them away, then scan the total last. I've been doing this for around 5 years now, I tend to save my points up for Xmas. You can get extra from scanning your receipts, but I don't bother, or from the odd survey that they send you by email. I've been doing it for so long now it's second nature to scan. When my scanner broke a while ago, it seemed really odd not to scan my shopping!

I've also been with them on and off for five years, no more "off" time now though, as it is now more simple than it was in the beginning when you had the massive hand held computer, had to manually type in the bar code..it could take an hour and was so long winded!!

now it takes me ten minutes, as i am fast at it and also the modern cute scanner is so fast :)
