Yeah i have had a problem for the last 2 weeks haven't been able to send any barcodes have been through all of the problems and uploaded the active x thing the shop and scan people have become my personal friends now lol, have sent for new batteries hoping that is the problem, seems to be a very stressful period with the shop and scan though at the moment.

Hi, Ever since they said I need to do the download after receiving the letter. The page just freezes and then crashes.......waiting for them to suggest what to try next. V.frustrating losing points though whilst this is happening.....

We had a new clicker tried my first transmission scanned all the shopping said the barcodes went through but it wouldn't empty the clicker, now tried it again and it won't even scan the shopping gggrrr getting really frustrated and annoyed with the whole thing, then in between getting these emails saying don't forget to transmit

Sometimes it has problems because the cable is twisted! (A bit like me perhaps?! - lol)

Have you downloaded the new software? Noticed last week when I was having problems then got a letter yesterday telling me that there was a new software update. You should get a note at the top of IE saying "Active Content" or something and you need to download it to work

ive given up on shop and scan now. every week it takes me about 20 mins to get it to upload my barcodes. I have to keep pressing 'transmit' then get the transmittion 3 error then go back and press 'transmit' again. if i do it enough times it will work (i dont do anything different any of the times i try). so i cant be bothered with it now, its too frustrating

I've downloaded the new software but it still gives me a load of trouble, i'm getting to the point now where i can't be bothered it's a real shame

If you have more than 1 USB port try a different one. For some reason if I place it in the ones on the right hand side of my laptop it doesn't work but on the left it does

Also it may be the cable not working so contact them and ask about replacing it
