i used to do this but took me ages to do a weekly shop as i had to type in whether the item was on offer how many i bought and the price. I was told to scan everything i bought that came with a barcode inc clothes so that is what i did. it was taking me so long to do i gave up the points given didnt see worth the time i was taking to do it all

That was Factfinders - Shop and Scan give you a mini barcode scanner and its really quick as you don't have to type anything in. I do both, and find Factfinders an absolute chore but have been doing it for 10+ years so its more of a habit now. I do like the free cinema tickets - this seems the only worthwhile reward they do.

Shop and Scan is a pleasure to do in comparison to Factfinders!
  • Does anyone have an invitation code for Shop and Scan, please? Many thanks.

How they know you are pregnant? are you meant to tell them?

I'm not sure if you're supposed to tell them or not but they noticed that I had bought a few baby bits and emailed me to ask why! Big Brother was obviously watching :)

They do not want information on clothes - it is other household shopping - food, cleaning products, toiletries

Oh really? I scan absolutely everything, I've been on the panel for 18 months so I'm surprised they haven't said anything yet!
  • As far as i know they want you to scan everything, that includes clothes shoes and any online orders.

Does anyone know if Shop & Scan will work with a tablet computer? I'm sure I've read that Ipad dosent support flash, so I'm wondering whether you can transmit via this or another type of tablet?

    They're cheaper than a laptop, too ...

I'm pretty certain it's Internet explorer only. Tablets don't have the socket needed to plug in the scanner either.

It only works with internetn explorer. You need a usb port to plug in the scanner.

Contact them to see if they have developed software for a tablet.
