When I contacted shop and scan they just asked for it back. I really wanted to do this too....have just emailed them.
Anyone got any tips on how to get the scanner working on a laptop?

I couldn't get my USB-serial convertor working either (thankfully I also have a desktop with a serial port). However I decided to have a play yesterday. The convertor had been given a high COM port number (10) so I just set it lower (4) plugged in the scanner and was able to transmit my barcodes from my laptop

My Dad got an invite, but had trouble downloading the software too. And he can't find it again on the site. Can anyone help at all? I'd be so greatful if anyone could send it over?
