We think we have a new postie. Old postie was just fine. New postie delivers soggy, damaged post and also gives us post addressed to the same number in a neighbouring street (different postcode clearly on the letters too).

    Perhaps we should complain?
I complained using that webpage, and so far so good. Now i just have to convince the gas/electricity suppliers, car hire firms, pizza delivery men, builders, plumbers, salesmen - even the fire brigade has hammered at my door at 3 am saying my house was on fire. It wasnt my house i was able to assure him, it was in a similar address just round the corner.

That just reminded me - I complained a while ago via the website, when our post one day arrived at 9.15 pm. They sent me a very long e-mail in reply, stating that they were improving, blah, blah - but if I wasn't happy, I could always go to the main post office and pick it up myself!!!!!

My postie is sweet and wears shorts. He once found an injured pigeon and asked me to call the RSPCA for him.

(He's pretty good at delivering most of the letters to the right houses as well. :p)

i stumbled, as you do on the internet, upon http://www.capscan.co.uk/MCD5Demo.htm

this is the only postcode finder i use now. stick in a partial code a partial address or a combination of the two and away you go.

    that's a good site mark,

the trouble with the royal mail is that you need the complete address correctly typed, but the RM site does show a map too, but a combination of these 2 sites should find most places
