Actually, I have remembered that just before exchange of contracts we went round to the house and found piles of junk in the shed and outhouse. After a phone call to our solicitor and him to theirs the vendors rushed around and cleared it as they were afraid of losing the sale! But it wouldn't have bene a deal-breaker if they hadn't.If you think you can do a thing or think you can't do a thing, you're right - Henry Ford0

I'd get one of those "oven genie" type of people round for the oven, £25 I think they are.
A Friend of mine used one of these company's. It cost her £75 but she said it was well worth it as they take the whole cooker apart to clean it and then put it all back together.Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p
It is not illegal to open another persons mail unless you intend to commit fraud - this is frequently incorrectly posted
I live in my head - I find it's safer there:p

I've always thouroughly cleaned anywhere I've moved from - including a council property. Apart from not wanting the incoming people to have to contend with dirt, I would have hated them to complain to the neighbours about how dirty I must have been!0

My friend has recently done a house swap and left her house spotless. She was disappointed to find it hadn't been a mutual idea though and has had to get the fleas dealt with too.0

Oven Pride is great, it's a clear jelly like substance that you spread about and you put the racks in a big bag, ours have come up spangly! Think it was £3 odd and it's the same thing the pro oven cleaners use.
just had my oven cleaned by a company called oven gleam (think they're franchise so will be in quite a few areas) in preparation for moving which hopefully for us too is the 27th!!
our oven was too grimy :eek:for oven pride to av worked!! even tho from the outside it looked spotless but i'd av been mortified to av left it filthy for the new couple who've bought our house heck i've even had all the curtains down that we are leaving as part of sale and washed all of them, they weren't filthy but were in need of a freshen up.
Not so sure the same will apply when we move into our new house it wasn't particularly clean when we viewed it . . . both times but it hasd so much potential . . . . well it will av after its be cleaned!!
good luck with your move x0 -
