Samsung Galaxy S/Kies backup
Hi, I'm struggling to upgrade to the newest firmware on My Galaxy S. I think I need to restore the phone to factory settings but don't want to lose everything on my phone. With my old iPhone it was a case of just syncing it. Is this the same for the Galaxy? got a feeling it won't be so easy.
Is there a way to BACKUP EVERYTHING? Losing the love for this phone....

Worth investing in Titanium pro from the market to back up apps and batch install .
Kies does not back up firmware from the phone .
You connect phone in Kies mode with Kies running and go to firmware update it should tell you if new firmware . Current is 2.2 or 2.2.1 Not Gingerbread 2.3 but thats due .
Kies updates without wiping stuff on phone .
