After hubby's birthday on 22nd.
It used to be when we had school holidays when I was young or had days off over christmas when I went to work(we used to get given a huge fresh turkey as a present).0 -

For me it's usually when I'm sat in a traffic jam on a really cold December afternoon and all the lights are on the houses (so after last weekend in December.) The sky looks all snowy (or rainy - but I can pretend!).:p
BUT I have to hear on the radio "Driving home for Christmas on my last car journey on the way home from work on the last day to really set it off. Used to be ok when I worked in retail - in car long enough, and dh would bring me the xmas cd up at lunch time "just in case" the radio didn't play it.
For Dh it's when he watches the Home alone films during his week off before Xmas!!!!! Bless!0 -
When I have been and done my service on Christmas eve - come home and do all the veg inprep for the following morning.0

Is it just me or does the start of the new CC advert sound just like the theme music to American Gothic (oldish tv show being repeated on itv2)?:DI was going to take over the world but got distracted by something sparkly.......0
