Hi i have found a hotel called STONECROSS MANOR in Kendal, has anyone stayed there?

They are offering a double room b&b with a four poster bed and a double spa bath for £98, they did offer it at £108 but me being a mse asked for a discount!

Can anyone tell me if this is a good location and any experience of the hotel would help.

Stonecross manor has a very good reputation and if you don't mind being on the edge of a town it's good. To travel anywhere in the lakes it'll take a while as it's after the kids break up for the holidays but if you're only staying the one night and you want easy motorway access it should be good.

Thanks Mrs B. The other ones i have looked at are Cherry Garth and Smallwood House Hotel as Stonecross manor had very mixed reviews.

I am looking at £90 which is ok for 2 people and breakfast.
