Cheapest way to get mobile data?
I bought my girlfriend a San Francisco recently, as she's been impressed with my HTC Desire, but now I'm having trouble finding the right tariff for her.
The problem is, now she has a smart phone she wants access to email and the internet, but she rarely uses her phone for other stuff. She sends a handful of texts a month (10 or 20) and very occasionally makes a phone call with it. She doesn't even need much data allowance - she's not likely to be streaming videos, just checking emails and browsing the web.
Can anyone suggest a suitable tariff?

I'm guessing the Phone is Unlocked and your talking any Network, if so have a look at:
http://www.chitterchatter.co.uk/simonly.php
100mins & 100text plus a free booster (so select 500mb of Data) all on a rolling 30day contract for £6 a month.
It's on T-Mobile
Or
https://www.giffgaff.com
You can use as a PAYG or buy a GoodieBag.
It's on O2
Remember to check the coverage before she selects any Network0 -
You can find some suggestions here: SIM-Only under £10 (Minutes,SMS,Internet)?
Also 12 months of data for £15 in total can be an option, although the calls will cost 20p/min and the original £10 topup covers just 50 minutes.0 -
Brilliant, thanks guys - some really useful info in there.0

Just FYI, I also found a deal at T-Mobile for 6 months of internet access on PAYG for £20 (working out at £3.33 a month), with the "6MONTHWEB" booster.
But I think she'll be going for the ChitterChatter deal mentioned by Chorlie above, which fits her needs perfectly.
Cheers guys!0 -
Is 12 months for £15 not better than 6 for £20?0
