  • Thanks guys especially Alfie, went down that route, one letter later and they cancelled the fine!
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

If only these little hitlers spent more time booking people who are not disabled using these spaces and less time with the people who really need them. Makes me so angry.[/QUOT

In our local (council run) car parks, disabled drivers are only exempt from the two hour rule if they aren't parked in disabled bays.
Disabled bays have a two hour limit.

Don't bother appealling, I can tell you the outcome now = refused !

But don't worry the ticket is completely unenforceable, its in fact illegal for a private company to fine someone, and these are not fines just invoices, that can be completely ignored, including the bogus letters from debt collectors, there is no debt as there is no loss in a free car park, they will not take you to court as they would lose !

Just a simple guide for you

Parking charge notice (pcn) = IGNORE
Penalty charge notice (pcn) = Don't ignore
Fixed penalty notice (fpn) = Don't ignore

The last two above are enforceable, the first one is not.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
