sounds like you're making this hard for yourself. When bringing the second computer to the first house, a £5-8 USB wifi adapter wil do the trick to connect it to the (bt) router wirelessly.

They'll be overpriced (yup, just checked, cheapest is £15) and are unlikely to perform any better than a £5-8 one off ebay..and pcw are cowboys :cool:......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
