I bought the b&m hibiscus too. I think it should be doing something by now. I still have a twig!
ETA: Just had a thought - what if B&M were actually selling sticks posing as hibiscus for £1.99 - they'd have made a killing!

I've had a blackcurrant from them that has got some kind of disease. It's not got fruit on it and it looks v poorly. The gooseberry is OK though, the raspberry bit the dust. I can't grow them for love nor money.
Blueberries... Suttons are doing a giveaway at the mo with Garden Answers and the free veg magazine you got with it. You need to quote GA311 at them when you order and you get one for the £3.95 p&p. It'll be small but with some tlc and the ericacious compost it should be OK.Well behaved women rarely make history.0 -

mine were different. I bought them last autumn and they are now 3 foot tall. £6 for two. I think like all plants its hit and miss. Their bilberries for example are struggling. Plus the two pear trees I bought, again £6 for 2, are doing great.Freedom is the freedom to say that 2+2 = 4 (George Orwell, 1984).
