i am not telling you to buys iams, i was showing interested people that its on special offer.

i am not getting into a political debate about animal testing either.
but will say that myself and my son would be dead if it wasnt for medication that we both have to take daily to keep us alive.

Taking ethics and emotive statements out of the equation, your dog doesn't have to eat "roadkill" or "animals that have died from old age" to eat a better quality food than IAMS, it's just not a particulalrly good food, full of fairly indigestable grains at best, and a very poor value for money at worst. There's a mass of foods on the market, even brands at half the price of IAMS that offer better quality and nutrition than this food.

I sell dog food, but IAMS isn;t one I would personally recommend.

No. My dogs eat meat. I don't. But dogs are carnivores, I make sure they have a good diet from ethical companies. Yes animals die in the process, but that's done so as ethically as is possible, considering the subject matter. I'm not about to force my beliefs on the dogs. But I do what I can. I won't feed foods I know has caused unnecessary suffering to animals. IE, animal testing. And I don't want my cash going to companies that participate in this.

I question if it is done as ethically as possible but respect your choice of ethical companies. I hope that includes -

I feed 2 staffies (one is 7 months old so eats a bit less) and a 15kg bag lasts 4 weeks so each dog is £20 a month to feed roughly. I ordered today it'll be here tomorrow. It's good stuff if anyone is interested.

All the foods listed are damn awful quality. So ethics aside I'd not feed them anyway.

But yes, I don't knowingly use products by a company who practices animal testing. I have a copy of animal free shopper and use that as a guide.

I don't want to come across as preachy, that's not my intent at all. I choose to use these products, others make their own choices. I just dislike people assuming I'd be 'first in line' were it me who needed something animal tested. And assuming I'm on high horse.
