Another fab day! good for you, just make sure you don't over do things.

Have you managed to work out what your expected DFD is now that you are back at work?

Morning all...off to work shortly...just checked online banking and the £200 is in...yippee...no sign of any money from the job centre...I haven't worked out a DFD yet as after the CCS they are all loans and the only way to pay them off early is in a lump sum...so will save the money in a high interest account until I have enough to clear one IFYSWIM....will have to go as need a brew before going out..have a good day everyone xxx

  • Have a good one,taxi:beer: (although I'm not suggesting you drink and drive:eek: )

Have the Illuminations been switched on yet? I expect Blackpool is heaving when they're on, so lots of nice fares for you and your lovely hubby.

    Take care

Evening everyone..had an alright day at work very busy this morning then quietish from 10-2pm..when I came home...but still did well...
Imp the illuminations started at beginning of september and end about bonfire night and they do make the town busy(at weekends)..though it has been a quiet season this year...This doesn't bother us as the firm we are on is focussed on local residents so has good trade all year round...we have only been on this firm about 7 months so haven't had a full year yet but our takings have been a lot more on here...though as a cabbie...if you don't put the hours in you don't make it!!!!....I'm happy so far...
I've managed to go to the bank today so have cleared the o/d and I had to get my taxi badges so had to spend £93 but this comes as expenses so means I can earn more this week...and obviously tax deductible..so alls good...
I'm going to pay the £200 I received today and the £100 off my egg card next week..(if I receive the £100 by then)
JJ has been tonight and he gave me loads of kisses and cuddles and wanted to sleep...I felt horrible that he couldn't as I'm working in the morning...he was alright though...
Not a lot else happening here DF wise except I'm having loads of no spend days..lol...
Hope everyone has had a good day...take carexx

Afternoon all my DFW friends..hope you are all well...just popped in to say HI as I'm going out shortly...I'm going to join WWs tonight at 6pm...
Been to work today but finished at 1pm and am now having 2 days off...so I can rest a little and maybe do some housework but don't really have anything planned as such...
I'm hoping to have paid off £5000 of my £7000 total by the end of the month...maybe more...
Hope you've all had a good day..take carexx

Glad you have had a good day, and your debt total is ever reducing, very nicely! Woo hoo!!

Enjoy your couple of days' rest - just make sure that you DO rest though - I know what you are like!!

Hi Hypno...I will rest I promise...I will do nothing too taxing and will just potter about doing bits and pieces...at least I don't feel as tired as I did last week...I was thinking that in a couple of weeks I may go to the gym and start some gentle exercise...I don't feel up to it yet as my stomach is pulling a little since I've been back at work!!!...I think it's pressing the clutch in a lot and its using my stomach muscles!!!
Going to check your thread now before I go out
  • Hi taxi

Just been over to hypno's diary and saw you there. Small world isn't it?:rotfl:

I'm worried about hypno doing too much as you are. And you too, as you're working really hard after being sidelined for so long with your op and recovery. Just make sure you have some relaxation on your days off, do you hear? I bet your lovely hubby will be taking you somewhere nice if he has one of the same days off too. Have a lovely time whatever you decide to do.

I had a little smile when you mentioned about JJ wanting to sleep over the other day. I adored my Grandma, the happiest times of my life were spent with her, and I can understand little JJ wanting to spend as much time with you as he can. You sound a lovely warm person.

Good for you going to WW. I could do with it myself but keep chickening out because I haven't any friend to go with(all my friends are enviably slim:mad: ). I keep going on diets of my own concoction but they never seem to work for long. DH loves his food and we have a cooked dinner most nights and the aroma of it cooking is too much for me to resist. Plus I'm a terrible 'picker' whilst I'm preparing and cooking, probably eating as much before it goes on the plate as I eat when it's finished:rotfl:

    Take care

Hi taxi - good luck with the WW thing. If you are as driven with that as you are with your debt busting, you'll be strutting down the catwalk in no time.

Actually no - don't do that. We don't want you turning into a broom handle on feet do we? ;)

Take it easy - your tummy is trying to tell you something....so be gentle with yourself.
