Flaming fleas!!

Immature fleas can lay dormant for months, even over a year, often really deep down in the carpet etc. Heat and vibration stimulate them to come to the surface and mature.

Therefore I always advise owners to whack the central heating up for a few hours and stomp around the house, THEN hoover like you've never hoovered before, finishing off with a good dose of household spray - Indorex is my product of choice, but do read the small print on the can as it can be harmful to fish and birds.

Obviously also use a vet prescribed spot on, and make sure you are up to date with worming too. I use Advocate & Drontal for my lot, but have had lots of clients using Frontline Plus or Effipro for fleas, and Milbemax for worms with no problems.

I would not touch a website that sells it as non prescription!

If it a legit product they are breaking the law, but chances are it will be a knock off which won't work and may even be harmful to your pet - Steer clear!
