    Nibbles?!!! Are you kidding?

I have frozen egg fried rice, tins of soup, cup-a-soups, my own ham!! (they buy smoked and I don't like it.. it repeats!) biscuits.. they NEVER have biscuits! and satsumas, I may end up with a pizza or 3 as well yet.. I thought about fish fingers and sausages but I don't know where the grill is.. or if they have one.. and I fully intend scrubbing out their microwave before cooking my rice.. it looks like it has never been cleaned!

Biscuits, dried fruit, bananas? What about liquids? Juice, pop, water etc.
Life's gone a bit belly up here - DD1 gave interview to paper about the scrapping of the ME Management course she did last year. Reporter went to the PCT for a quote and they say that they never commisssioned the course and didn't fund it - but their name is at the top of all the paperwork. Journalist is still trying to get to the bottom of this - he smells a rat - but DD1 is terrified that they are going to get the person who ran the course into some kind of trouble by giving the interview...

so last night she started feeling a bit sick and I hope she isn't worrying herself into a setback with her ME - that would be really ironic.

Did you see Lorraine this morning? There was a woman with ME on it and she undertook a course (sorry, I only caught the tale end), and it made an amazing difference to her. Dr Hillary spoke very highly about it too.

Got a wifie coming to see me this morning about replacement windows, wooden ones that is. But OHs Dad has kind of put me off with all the maintenance. Will see what she says about that side of things.

    Later lovelies

    Hi everyone

Delinquent me back again to rush around for a day ....and then vanish into thin air for a while....!

Must get going this morning, but feel tired...:o

Will start by doing some daily things: bread, make pastry, clear kitchen etc. But I'm really trying to avoid tackling the bathroom.

Am going to start early for a 9:45-10:15 HH Daily Job Blitz

    Care to join me anyone?

don't forget the cocco pops and I wouldn't risk putting my food where they could eat it :rotfl:

They wouldn't eat my crap anyway.. but they have mices in the utility area so won't be keeping them there!
Biscuits, dried fruit, bananas? What about liquids? Juice, pop, water etc.

I always take a bottle of oasis and biscuits.. they live in my bag! I don't eat dried fruit and am allergic to bananas.. they make me heap big poorly sick.

Lol.. it is like planning to take Squeak though I have a list of stuff I pack for her inc. clothes, toys and food...

cycling.. the chances are the PCT person doesn't know their @r$e from their elbow or it was organised by a department rather than the actual PCT initiative. Thy'll have spoken to someone who doesn't know where individual budgets went.. is there not a name to contact on the letters DD has? Might be easier to get in touch that way... though if it was a while ago the dept. might have been disbanded and the person who was involved moved elsewhere or not there at all.

  • Hi to you all,

I often read and try to do, but don't post that often, but really need some help, I have just been offered a full time post in the NHS

How will I manage working full time (I'm used to just working school hours!) and keep on top of everything!

All help gratefully received, I think I need to get organised!

    Thanks in advance

    Morning all

dry at the moment but forecast is for rain later unfortunately.

    cycling
spoons hugs and good luck wishes for you all today

Pixie fairydust I would suggest that you try to get a deep clean done everywhere before you start that way you wont have to worry too much about the house for the first week while you settle into your new job - and get the children started now with helping - if they are school age then they can def help with routine jobs everyday - and hubby too - there is no reason in my book why you should be the only one slogging away. if you havent already got routines in place then start now - clear up dishes after every meal - tidy kitchen and LR last thing at night - lay table for breakfast - sort school bags and handbags the night before - do packed lunches the night before - lay out clothes for everyone the night before - start meal planning so that you know what to take out of the freezer. everybody helping for half an hour in the evening will make a huge difference and you will soon find you can keep on top of things - if you keep doing pigpen's lists you will be covering most things in your house - but I think one of the most important things is clutter - dont let it build up - keep on top of putting things away tidying up (make sure the children put away what they have played with) it makes the cleaning sooooooooooooooooo much easier. you will be fine.:D
happierdays hope the pains go away and you get support from your Gp tomorrow

so far the dailies have been done, a couple of phone calls one of which resulted in the comm alarm people coming and refitting.

trying to get loads done today but know it wont happen - oh well head down and batter on:rotfl:

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
