(my heart says Blue Suede - my head is in the common sense/goes with more black camp)
They fit PERFECTLY and would be useful for work;)
Interesting psychological/sociological issue here (who knew??)
we think the blue ones look more expensive since only a woman who could go by car could wear them without ruining them...
a woman who walked or got the bus would go for leather
but piggers is right, get both.Cheap_Date wrote: »Hi Grateful
I'm team blue. The boy is tiny, and won't even be here for another 6/7 weeks, but he is cluttering up my house, just as I am trying to declutter!

With 3 parents at school already having tumours of the head and 2 sadly passing away within the past 6 months I am hoping that this proves to be nothing serious.

Can't offer much advice apart from there is no upper age, there are loads of adults go around on them for fitnes and fun.
Have to agree - i regularly see a bloke who i think must be early-mid 20's gliding on a pair - and he moves very fast indeed!
Life's gone a bit belly up here - DD1 gave interview to paper about the scrapping of the ME Management course she did last year. Reporter went to the PCT for a quote and they say that they never commisssioned the course and didn't fund it - but their name is at the top of all the paperwork. Journalist is still trying to get to the bottom of this - he smells a rat - but DD1 is terrified that they are going to get the person who ran the course into some kind of trouble by giving the interview...
so last night she started feeling a bit sick and I hope she isn't worrying herself into a setback with her ME - that would be really ironic.
With absolutely perfect timing:mad::o;) Aunt flo is wreaking havoc - it's day 12:eek: and I'm so tired that the only option is to go and see the doctor and see what they can do!
And it's the last day of the photography exam - between 9.50 and 1.15! Fingers crossed.
Am going to ring the docs and then hang the washing out.
If anyone has some spare spoons (for me and DD!) or posi-vibes - for DD2 I would so much appreciate them - I haven't felt this pathetic in a long time and would like nothing more than to crawl into bed......
Phone docs - then washing...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Morning all,
Got OH off to work at his usual silly time of the morning so did the bathrom whilst I was up getting dressed - even cleaned the tiles in the shower cubicle, which is a feat of gymnastice given my current bulk:rotfl: Joining WW tonight - figure it's an investment in my future and paying monthly by DD may force me to keep it up:D
Will be taking my morning constitutional soon - a gentle wander to the shops and back, no plans to buy anything just going for the walk.
I need to wash down the walls of the downstairs loo later ready for slapping some paint on, must also fight my way into the garage to see if we have any white gloss for the woodwork.
Other major task for the day is to finish the application form for the job that needs to be in by tomorrow. It's online so no postage problems.
Oh and have to read the meter so I don't get an estimated bill.
Hugs to all, needed or not.0 -
